Recently, a Canadian fan, Kyle Spratt, pleaded guilty after stealing a cell phone from Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim and using it to get a hold of his rap idol.
Kim, it seems was at the Windsor, Ontario bingo when she realized her cell phone had been stolen. It seems, Spratt, age 19 just wanted to rap with Eminem (AKA Slim Shady) and he figured a good way to reach his ‘friend’ Eminen was via the cell phone that would surely have THE phone number in it. Spratt got it OK, from Eminem who can obviously spot a wannabe fan - and he got the police involved. But after posting a nasty blast at Eminem on the Internet, well, that was the end of the ‘line’ for Spratt. His sentence was a year's probation and a fine of $230. Ontario Court Justice Guy DeMarco also told Spratt to keep away from Eminen.
